Candle Care
Please read our candle care guide for instructions on safely caring for your candle, to optimise use and get the best results from your product.
Burn Time - To prevent tunnelling, allow your wax to melt all the way to the edge of the container on the first burn. This will set the candle memory. Each time you light the candle after setting the candle memory, it will always burn out to the edge of the container. If you do not do this on the first burn, you will end up with a tunnelling effect impacting the overall quality and burn of the candle.
Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
Trim the wick - Keep the wick trimmed to 7mm (1/4 inch) tall each time before lighting to keep a clean and even burn. You may notice a 'mushrooming' of the wick. If this occurs, gently remove the black 'mushroom' from the wick, ensuring any wick debris is removed from the candle surface before re-lighting. This will encourage the cleanest burn possible.
Burn it safely - Always burn your candle within sight and never leave unattended. Always burn your candle on a flat, heat resistant surface and avoid breezes and drafts. Keep out of reach of children and pets at all times.
Stop burning - Discontinue use when 10mm (1/2 inch) of wax remains at the bottom of your container. It's now time to treat yourself to another Chateau Nouveau candle!
Stay safe and enjoy!
